The educational activities of the college are based on the principles of the National Doctrine of the Development of Education, the conceptual basis of the National Doctrine of the Development of Pedagogical Education and its integration into the European educational space; the Laws of Ukraine: “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, “On Professional Pre-Higher Education”, “On Vocational Education”, “On General Secondary Education”, “On Languages”; the State National Program “Education” (“Ukraine of the 21st Century”); the Concept of Pedagogical Education Development, and other regulatory documents.
In its activities, the Separate Structural Subdivision Lviv Professional College of Food Technologies and Business of the National University of Food Technologies is governed by the current legislation, the Statute of the National University of Food Technologies, the Regulations on the Separate Structural Subdivision “Lviv Professional College of Food Technologies and Business of the National University of Food Technologies,” university regulatory documents that govern specific areas of activity of the colleges within the university’s educational complex, decisions of the Academic Council of NUFT, orders and directives of the Rector, directives of the Vice-Rectors according to their respective powers, and of the College Director, as well as the College Development Strategy for 2021–2026 Academic Years, its annual work plans, and the work plans of the Directorate, the Pedagogical and the Methodological Council of the College.
The educational process in the 2025–2026 academic year is carried out by 60 teaching and academic staff members who are divided into 4 subject committees.
Among them: 11 lecturers hold the pedagogical title of “Senior Lecturer”; 7 lecturers hold the pedagogical title of “ Lecturer-Methodologist”; 34 lecturers have the highest qualification category; 1 Candidate of Economic Sciences; 1 Candidate of Philological Sciences; 1 Doctor of Philosophy in Public Management and Administration; 4 Candidates of Technical Sciences; 2 Candidates of Geographical Sciences; 1 Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; 6 lecturers hold the academic title of “Associate Professor.”
